As the Senior Software Developer, you'll own the technical design and implementation of custom components, setup, and configuration of off-the-shelf components and contribute to making the solution end-to-end successful as part of a dedicated team.

About the team  The Security Team is the focal point for all security activities across Swiss Re.
We are responsible for cybersecurity engineering and operations, corporate security, governance, operational resilience, risk and compliance.
We define and advance the company's security strategy.
As a part of the Security Team, the Cyber Defence Engineering team has the mission to protect Swiss Re by detecting and responding to Cyber Threats.
We're looking a skilled software engineer to design, implement, and integrate new automations and components to our cybersecurity incident response platform.
In your role, you will…  Be someone who believes in continuous innovation, is curious and relentless in finding a better way every day  Design and build new cybersecurity orchestration automation via API integrations Maintain and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the existing automations within the cybersecurity orchestration platform Conduct research to identify and implement new techniques and tools that can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the cybersecurity orchestration automation platform Collaborate with threat detection security engineers to develop and implement custom solutions for detecting and responding to emerging cyber threats Contribute to Swiss Re's Healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities.

If you, however, meet some of the criteria below and are curious about the world of cybersecurity automation, we'll be more than happy to meet you!    What we need from you  Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of cybersecurity automation as an enabler of business performance  Experience in python development in complex corporate environments  The ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders effectively – from cybersecurity analysts to application owners  A track record of successful delivery in API integrations developed with Python A high level of integrity, result-oriented approach, and composure under pressure  Strong communication, influencing, and collaboration skills       Nice-to-have  Experience with cloud native technologies and environments Experience working with SOAR capabilities development Knowledge of detection rule development, covering tools (such as SIEM, EDRs) and industry frameworks (such as MITRE ATT&CK®) Experience working as a security analyst or incident responder (in a SOC/CSIRT/on-call setup)       For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between [EUR ] and [EUR ] (for a full-time role).
