SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (FULL STACK)

Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)Onsite - Madrid OR MalagaA leading global FinTech company is seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to join their team. These positions are for a brand new Engineering team. They are looking for Engineers at all levels: Senior, Staff and Principal.This role involves working in a wider distributed team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the company's core platform, focusing on the customer facingelements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and improve the next iteration of the client platform’s services.Collaborate with team members and engineering leaders to design new services and components.Take full ownership of the products developed, including ongoing maintenance.Develop complex web applications using technologies such as Python/Django, Node.js, React, and VueJS. Experience with other languages is also valued.Communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both written and spoken.Establish standard APIs, incorporate monitoring systems, and integrate external systems.Build and run services, ensuring code is containerised, monitored, and alerted properly.Maintain high quality in code with thorough test coverage, using tools like Jenkins pipelines and Terraform for CI and deployment.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and practices.Qualifications and Experience:Strong understanding of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.Over 2 years of experience applying AI to practical technology solutions (desired).Proficiency with TypeScript, Vue 3, TailwindCSS, PostCSS, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, and Storybook.Experience with Python3, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Rest APIs (desired).Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases.Proficiency in writing testable code with good coverage for unit and integration tests.Familiarity with SQL is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to clearly articulate ideas in English, both written and spoken.*intro Consulting Ltd are acting as a third party recruitment agency for this position*
