The purpose of the project (short “CBEN”) is to extend Celonis’ process observability beyond company boundaries.
It allows for companies to share their data with their business partners and augment their own data.
This opens up new opportunities for process improvement across value chains with multiple companies involved.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the new “CBEN” team.
This role is ideal for someone who brings a wealth of experience in building large-scale software systems and has a strong background with Node.
s-based cloud systems.
Responsibilities.
Work on the productization and the build-out of a highly innovative project.
Demonstrate a strong command of cloud-native and backend technologies.
Develop on the backend of our projects and ensure a seamless integration.
Implement and improve test strategy to ensure high quality.
Ensure our solutions are scalable and maintainable and perform well Work closely with your fellow engineers, product managers, and designers to create cohesive and efficient solutions.
Collaborate with adjacent teams to drive holistic project success.
Your qualifications.
Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.
.
Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in backend engineering roles.
3+ years of experience building production-grade software with Javascript and Typescript, Node.
s and its ecosystem.
Proven experience in building and running cloud-native systems on Kubernetes and AWS.
Proficiency in API design (e.
.
REST and openAPI, GraphQL or gRPC).
Experience working with databases (e.
.
relational DBs or noSQL DBs) and other storage technologies (e.
.
blob storage such as AWS S3).
Proficiency in working with Docker and other containerization technologies.
Experience working in modern software development teams (Git strategy, CI/CD, Testing, …).
Ability to quickly learn new things without tight supervision.
Ability to understand business problems and the needs of our users.

Fluent in English.
