Depending on your position, you may work on enhancing a powerful analytics engine, refining data ingestion, automating infrastructure and tools, or enriching rapid-cycle full-stack analytics applications.Develop and document high-performance, scalable components and software solutions by analyzing information needs, consulting with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; identifying problem areas; and adhering to the software development lifecycle.Offer expertise in devising technical solutions and make informed decisions on when and how to invest in tactical versus strategic solutions.Implement automated tests to validate codebase changes and generally increase overall coverage.Provide insights and recommend technology advancements to improve the codebase's scalability, reliability, and availability.Mentor, guide, and develop junior engineers.Document each system or application aspect for future upgrades and maintenance, and facilitate faster onboarding of new hires.Collaborate closely with our product, design, and science teams to understand client needs.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline5+ years of commercial experience in Scala, Python or JavaFull-stack engineers should have demonstrated expertise in TypeScript, ideally combined with some experience in Java.Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.Optional & Preferred requirements;For those specializing in SRE: Proficiency with Kubernetes for managing containerized, distributed systems, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.For those focusing on full-stack development: High proficiency with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or similar technologies.Experience with Agile Methodology and CI/CD practices.Proven experience working with large datasets.Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, design solutions that are repeatable and scalable, take ownership, and deeply understand technology.Passion for collaborating within highly cooperative team settings, including working closely with product teams to devise innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.Sound like you?Hit apply!
