Inverters, DCDC Converters, On-board Chargers…) Interface with customer technical personnel contacts Analyze customer requirements and distribute specific requirements to appropriate competencies Create and manage mechanizations and block diagrams Assist with product concepts and provide direction to senior designers Manage requirements compliance and checklist documentation Create customer technical review presentations as needed Assist EE/ME with Bill of Materials for various power electronic products Estimate engineering related project development costs such as people, capital, and expenses Cooperate with purchasing department to reduce BOM cost Support various leadership communication meetings and documents Collect information from quotation and analyze market trend Incorporate lessons learned into next quotation Requirements.
Bachelor of Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field 5 – 10 years’ Field Experience (Preferred) > 3 years’ Experience Working on Power Electronics Products (Preferred) Knowledge of microcontroller mechanization on Aurix microcontrollers (Preferred) Knowledge of electric and hybrid electric vehicle drive systems and applications Knowledge of key concepts of power electronics operation for hybrid and/or electric vehicles Familiarity with Functional Safety and Cyber Security concepts Familiarity with high voltage power semiconductor device technology such as Silicon IGBT, SiC MOSFETs Must be confident and composed in front of the customer Must be capable of at least 25% Domestic and International travel without Visa limitations Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
