SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT

Hello there! We’re Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (also known as _VOIS) and we’re looking for a   Senior Tax Consultant Your role in a nutshell.
Tax+ Team is a dedicated _VOIS Tax organisation of appropriately qualified and experienced tax professionals providing an additional avenue of on-call support to Group Tax, Local Markets, covering a wide range of services.
The Tax Consultant in Tax+ supports tax projects as per the defined milestones by timely completion of all deliverables, input to Manager and co-ordinate project planning phase with technical details for timelines and resource requirements, as well as extract and analyse accounting data for tax purposes, prepare tax calculations and tax reports for local tax teams based around the world.
What you’ll do.
•    Co-ordinate ad hoc projects and resources within the Tax+ Team and input details and challenges to Manager •    Deputize Manager as per need •    Take part in various ad hoc tax related projects  •    Perform specific tax activities and project assignments for various Local Markets & Group Tax •    Collects and extracts financial data from Local Markets/other VOIS service lines and ERP systems, respectively •    Prepares tax calculations and tax reports for local tax teams, tax authority or statutory audit purposes •    Provide excellent quality deliverables in accordance with agreed service standards •    Gives professional guidance to other members of the tax team, helps them to resolve daily issues •    Review of deliverables of junior colleagues •    Actively participate on project meetings with business, Group Tax and stakeholders on a regular basis •    Supports core Tax Team in automation projects •    Understand and promote the Vodafone values, act as a role model What you’ll bring to the team.
•    At least 4 years' work experience in the field of tax or finance •    High level of tax and accounting knowledge •    Qualification in accounting/finance/economics •    Exposure to accounting environment •    Advanced MS Excel knowledge •    SAP knowledge is an advantage •    Multitasking skills •    Advanced project management skills •    Priority management •    Analysis and interpretation •    Attention to detail •    Customer focusing mindset •    Fluent English both written and spoken     In return we provide you with.
