SENIOR UI/UX DESIGNER

Your roleJoin us as a talented Senior UI/UX designer with extensive Visual and UX design knowledge at Oracle NetSuite Barcelona! By being embedded in the Templates team, you will focus on our design systems while leveraging your UX expertise to innovate and standardize our visual language. You’ll contribute to creating visually beautiful and highly usable experiences for our customers.You will work closely with the Templates team Senior Manager and the Visual Design Manager, reporting to the latter. Your role will focus primarily on discovery and product design but also to provide any visual design support and expertise as needed in the Templates team. Therefore, you will also be required to act as the liaison between the Visual Design team and the Templates team. This will mean working with a multidisciplinary team of product managers, UX designers, researchers, content designers and engineers to produce top-notch experiences. You will be responsible for bringing all the knowledge about the award-winning Redwood design system, which we apply to our product, ensuring its principles are well understood and implemented.You will be part of a cross-organizational team that is evolving our design system, collaborating with multiple product development teams in Oracle NetSuite globally. You will adapt the design system across our products, uphold brand standards, and ensure consistency.What You’ll DoYou will apply critical thinking, design methodologies, and creative problem-solving to produce design solutions against the ongoing requirements.Leverage and expand upon our design system to ensure consistency across products and platforms.Work with multi-disciplined, cross-functional teams of Product Managers, Engineers, Test Engineers, Designers, Researchers, and Writers in a dynamic environment.Produce high-quality UX artefacts that will support both the problem space and solution space as part of the discovery process.Produce advanced Figma prototypes to demonstrate experiences to stakeholders and finalise technical specifications for engineers.Become the expert on the Redwood Design system, bringing visibility of their work to the templates team.Present design alternatives and effectively communicate design rationales and trade-offs.Demonstrate a passion for iteration and being eager to receive feedback.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects of varying timelines, degrees of complexity, and scope.Qualifications/SkillsDegree in Graphic Design, Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.7+ years of professional experience, preferably in the software product development industry.Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to produce advanced prototypes and design specifications.A self-starter who can take directional input and execute independently.A stunning online portfolio showcasing a spectrum of innovative design solutions and attention to detail.A positive and resilient personality, with the ability to embrace feedback and a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.Excellent communication skills; office and company language is English.Experience with ERP and/or “big data company” and working in a design system is a huge plus.Our Company CultureWe help each other and foster collaboration across roles and teams.We lift each other up, celebrate successes, and learn from failures.We consider ideas, no matter how simple or outlandish.We always strive to do the right thing for ourselves, the product, and our customers.Why Oracle NetSuiteOracle NetSuite is a global leader in cloud-based software, offering a unified business management suite of applications, including financials, ERP, CRM, and e-commerce to more than 38,000 customers.
