Undergoing the digital transformation the Commercetools solution is introduced to the estate, with a brand new website and a suite of required integrations.What you will doCommercetools integration and customizationDesign and develop high-quality Java-based applicationsCreate detailed technical specifications for applicationsTroubleshoot and debug applicationsEnsure applications meet performance and scalability requirementsWork closely with other teams to ensure the end product meets the client’s needsMonitor application performance and provide optimization recommendationsStay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trendsWhat you need for thisProven record of at least 2 years of experience in integration and customization of Commercetools, including extensions and custom objects.Proficiency with Java with a proven record of at least 7 years of experience.Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and principlesProven experience designing and developing complex, high-traffic, and highly scalable systemsExpertise in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and/or other Java frameworksStrong knowledge of RESTful web services and API designStrong understanding of JMM and GCUnderstanding of application architecture principlesExperience with software development best practices, including agile methodologies andcontinuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teamsWill be a plus:Commercetools certificationCommercetools modeling and configuring Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or AzureKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins and DockerFamiliarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworksStrong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databasesWhat it’s like to work at IntelliasAt Intellias, where technology takes center stage, people always come before processes.
