As we are quickly growing, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to strengthen our digital team under the global plant infrastructure product that is a key contributor when new technologies and solutions are to be implemented in our manufacturing environments.
You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and scale our services globally while leaving a mark on setting up an organization from scratch.

And of course, we have fun together while doing it!   Who will you report to? The position is located at the Volvo Car Kosice plant and the main reporting line leads to local IT-Site Manager.
What will you do? Utilize strong Information Technology mindset and previous experience with digital infrastructure domains; Build on our future global plant infrastructure IT landscape and participate in delivering global digital infrastructure solutions according to the global standards; Coordinate team of support engineers that deliver on-site Level 1 & Level 2 support for the Volvo Car factory in Kosice, Slovakia, mainly handling hardware and software related issues on office and factory equipment, IT assets lifecycle management and office end user support;  Analyze and diagnose hardware and software problems on office and production equipment (PDA’s, scanners, thin clients, PC’s, forklift terminals,…) and printers and provide adequate support for users; Be responsible for IT assets lifecycle management, update asset inventory in asset management system including the stock movements;  Align with 3rd party suppliers for hardware troubleshooting;  Carry out swap, replacement, re-installation, upgrades, patching as required resolving hardware and software related incidents; Take responsibility for regular deployment of patches on factory clients in accordance with the agreed process; Take responsibility for deploying anti virus tools on factory clients in accordance with the agreed process and protecting clients against attacks; Remove and replace equipment from the stock of equipment and spares as a result of the Incident resolution and Change processes; Manage spare part stock for quick replacements, and initiate purchases with Service Owner;  Deploy images/deployment roles/applications using agreed deployment solution upon request;  Take responsibility for accuracy of the images; Work together with application support teams for solutions to difficult problems; Identify incidents that should have been possible to resolve remotely, and report back as one step in the continuous improvement work; Monitor, analyze and resolve hardware related alerts; Provide assistance to factory service desk whenever required; Secure smooth and resilient deployment of new technologies; Interface and collaborate alongside several other support groups, such as network, application support and server groups, vendors, and suppliers to be on top of current and future needs, ensure seamless infrastructure service delivery and harmonize local digital solutions to global standards; Be responsible for lessons learned management, share best practice and knowledge and coach the team members.
Team is following production hours in the plant, which requires working in shifts.
What will you bring? Several years of previous working experience in the daily operations in a similar position; Preferred university education in in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, as well as additional qualifications in the form of relevant certifications such as.
CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, MS Certified AZ/SC, CompTIA (A+, Security+), ITIL;  Server OS.
Basic knowledge of Server Operating systems, such as Linux, Windows and (optional) OpenVMS; Client OS.
Hands-on experience in Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows 11 Operating system; DC Facilities.
Basic knowledge of server room components like Power, UPS; AD.
Knowledge maintaining accounts/clients in Active Directory and maintaining GPO’s; Network.
Basic knowledge of LAN setup, including wireless; Desktop Security.
Knowledge of antivirus deployment and update, patch management, monitoring and reporting; Desktop, Laptop, Handheld devices.
Hands-on experience in OS deployment / provisioning, common application installation and troubleshooting, hardware knowledge, disposal (disk wipe); Monitoring.
Basic knowledge monitoring alert, frequency;  Printers.
Hands-on experience in managing printers (Local & Network printers); Phones.
Experience with mobile devices management; Incident Reporting tools.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Service Now; Monitoring tools.
Hands-on experience with tools such as ZABBIX; ITIL.
Basic understanding of ITIL processes; Recommended experience in MDT, WSUS, MobiControl; Basic experience with scripting tools such as Powershell; Experience with managing Android and IOS phones; Flexibility working outside of standard business hours in the form of on-call duty to some extent, later once operations are established; Demonstrated flexibility, being able to work under an organization in a transformation period, or green-field project, but thrive in such a fast-paced environment; Excellent communication and presentation skills, conversational in English, written and spoken, and proficient in Slovak language; Not only an individual contributor attitude but also a demonstrated ability to work within a multinational team, influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization; Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and have the capacity to identify, mitigate and decide on solutions when facing obstacles in your assignment; Passion to build on our future global plant infrastructure IT landscape; Ability and willingness to travel within Europe, although based in Košice, Slovakia.

Salary for this position starts from EUR, per month, gross.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job.
Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
In addition to the monthly salary, there is also a 13th salary paid in an aliquot amount and a performance bonus depending on the company's financial results and individual performance.
