CONTEXT AND GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POST  The Emergency Response Training aims at targeting the main learning needs related to the core of MSF activities.
It needs to keep being updated every year in order to reflect the best and more updated OCBA practices in emergency response.
Last ERT training done f2f in February , so there is a backlog of staff to be trained.
The restrictions due to the Covid19 imposed a virtual methodology during 2 years,starting in a mixed approach blended and purely online was available to feed different Operational leaning needs.
The main objective of the position is to develop in collaboration with the instructional designer the adjustments required, so at the end of the revision, the ERT will reflect the best and more updated OCBA practices in emergency response and will be possible to deliver both face to face and virtually.
It requires working in close collaboration with the operations learning referent and the relevant people in HQ, especially in the medical department, but also in the logistics one.
This position is hierarchically and functionally accountable to Operations Learning Referent (OLR).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS Review the existing materials.
Review related learning resources on emergencies (AI, CADM, etc.) Participate in the design of the learning solution together with the Instructional Designer and the OLR.
Review the compiled proposals for improvements.
Propose updates of the existing ERT modules and new modules according to evolution of the emergency priorities.
Once proposals are confirmed, (s)he will agree with the relevant people on the specificities of the adjustments.
Once contents are confirmed, will work with the Instructional Designer in the adaptation of the materials to the remote methodology.
(S)he will participate as coordinator and facilitator in the ERT- F2C and Online.
(S)he, together with the other facilitators, will compile the feedback in a report.
(S)he will thus work on the revision of the materials, following the gathered feedback.
She will work and develop the ERT-basic in collaboration with another relevant people, mainly medical and logistic Advisors.
Upon request of the learning unit or the missions, develop ad hoc material and case studies.
SELECTION CRITERIA Education and experience At least 4/5 years of MSF experience.
Experiences as Emergency Coordinator / Medical Emergency coordinator with MSF-OCBA are preferred.
Medical profile is an asset.
Fluent English and French required.
Academic degrees in humanitarian related topics are valued Experience as facilitator in trainings is valued.
CONDITIONS Position based in any MSF OCBA Hub (Barcelona, MSF-Spain office delegations, Amman, Bogota, Dakar or Nairobi).
Final location will be subject to the employability of the preselected candidate (residency, work permit, etc.).
Temporary post strictly related to the dates, until end of February .
Full-time job  Annual gross salary.
HQ-3B + secondary benefits base in MSF OCBA Rewards Policy.
Subjected to local conditions.
