SNOWFLAKE ARCHITECT

You would be part of a Scrum Team, working on two-weeks sprints and using Azure as a key-tool for our Software Development Life Cycle and keeping our IT Risk under control.We are looking for a Snowflake architectResponsabilities:•Must have prior experience with end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and end to end data warehouse implementations•You would be planning, designing, developing and maintaining the data architecture, data models and for various Data Integration/Data Warehouse projects in snowflake, following VCC guidelines and standards.•You need to ensure new features and subject areas are modelled to integrate with existing structures. Develop and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data flow and data models of the data warehouse.•Take ownership of technical solutions from design and architecture perspective for projects•Expertise in Snowflake - data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts•You should be able to help and guide a team of senior developers to understand and deliver data products in the data warehouse•Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features•Must have experience in Data Migration from TeraData/RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse•Must have experience of Agile development methodologies•Experience with application delivery using an Onshore/Offshore model•Strong written communication skills.
