SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

We are looking for an expert to work as Solutions Architect!What will you do?Stakeholder Management: The role demands excellent relationship skills and the incumbent will be expected to build cross department relationships with functional leads, program and project managers.Architecture and Design: A critical thinker with the ability to collaborate within the team, define the application architecture, architecture strategy, EA alignmentImplementation and Review: Define Backlog, Low level design, Review of deliverables, Prototyping/Hands-on development for POC/Framework definition /Templates, development direction and work packages whilst resolving the issues that emerge.Identify growth opportunity and participation in RFP/RFIWhich skills are required?Ideal candidate would have at least 12 years’ experience with proven skills on industry best practice across architectural design methodologies, patterns, legacy modernization, platforms, microservices and security modelsMust at least 5 years’ experience working as solution architect on complex enterprise grade program involving modernization and cloud adoption.Will have come from a development background and be familiar with the full project lifecycle. Programming / scripting in high level languages viz. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, SQL or othersGood understanding on any cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container platform like OpenShift/Kubernetes/PCF involving application and infrastructure designGood communication and presentation skills are essential as the role requires building and nurturing relationships with account. Spanish speaking skills is mandatoryStrong understanding for application and infrastructure securityStrong understanding on Microservice, UI and Data (NOSQL and RDBMS)Strong understanding of DevSecOps – IaC, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Monitoring/Alerting/Logging, Operational support models, Resilience, Scaling and Continuous PlanningWill have a good understanding of hybrid architectures utilizing cloud. Able to create designs that incorporate legacy and new applications. Exposure to Kubernetes/Openshift/PCFA critical thinker with the ability to collaborate within the team, define the application architecture, development direction and work packages whilst resolving the issues that emerge.Experienced with Agile delivery methods and related tools, i.e. JIRA and Confluence.
