We are leaders on digital technology services, and we provide large-scale technologic solutions to big companies.🔎 What are we looking for?We are looking for a Solutions Architect working close to one of our main clients in telco sector.📋 Main tasks and accountabilities will be:Accountable for translating technical requirements into a viable and feasible solutions architecture describing component and interface specifications that can be delivered to budget, on time, and to the required quality.Responsible for assuring that all deliverables are built to specification i.e., they align with the agreed architecture as expressed in the Solution Architecture Description and where the deviation is required the correct exception process have been followed.Providing oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions with a bias for action.Identify the best solution for the particular circumstances, advocate and ensure its adoption and acceptance amongst the stakeholders.Explore new technologies.💡 What UST expects from you?Proficiency in Kubernetes services and their internal working.A strong technical background and a proven demonstrable record of driving forward the architectural vision and strategy within an organization.Proven experience of successful delivery of complex, highly performing, redundant and quality systems.Proven experience in working with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to analyse requirements, develop ideas, and design solutions.Understanding of non-functional requirements, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methods.Hands on experience Software-defined-networking, virtualization, automated bare-metal provisioning, software-defined-storage, relational and NoSQL database, identity and security engineering, architecture or design.Hands on experience on Automation, DevOps and CICD tooling: Ansible, puppet, terraform, vault, git, Jenkins, Gerrit, docker, packer, repository management etc.Excellent understanding of cloud networking concepts like Software defined networking and any certification on Networking Technology will be certainly a plus.Experience of Agile and XP practices.Hands-on proficiency with Linux (CLI)Proficiency with at least one scripting/programming language or tool (bash, python, Ansible, etc.)Good english level (B2-C1)Nice to have:Security: Should be well versed with all levels of Security in Cloud and IT Space.Should be well versed with scaling application performance over cloudShould be well versed with Clustering and high availability concepts.Should be well versed with Distributed (CEPH) and Back up ConceptsShould be well versed with VPN, Load balancer and Firewall Concepts at enterprise level.Should be well versed with Nagios or equivalent tools.Should have designed and architected Private Clouds in past.Data Center Skills: Should have designed enterprise data centres and have seen and migrated large systems to new DC and cloud.📍 Work location100% remote within Spain.⏰ Work scheduleBusiness Hours.💰 What can we offer?✈️ 23 days of Annual Leave plus the 24th and 31st of December as discretionary days!❤️ Numerous benefits (Health Care Plan, teleworking compensation, Life and Accident Insurances).🍴 `Retribución Flexible´ Program: (Meals, Kinder Garden, Transport, online English lessons, Health Care Plan…)🎓 Free access to several training platforms🚀 Professional stability and career plans🚶 UST also, compensates referrals from which you could benefit when you refer professionals.🔗 The option to pick between 12 or 14 payments along the year.🏡 Real Work Life Balance measures (flexibility, WFH or remote work policy, compacted hours during summertime…)🎁 UST Club Platform discounts and gym Access discounts📧 If you would like to know more, do not hesitate to apply and we’ll get in touch to fill you in details.
