HAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Solutions Architect within Everyday Banking IT you will work on the functional architecture of applications and how they interact with other systems in the Architecture Landscape of Santander UK, Group and 3rd Parties.
The team effectively works as an Architecture Community across domains sharing reusable patterns and solutions learnt on projects, independently of projects and domains.
he EDB area covers core banking including personal accounts, savings, fixed term deposits, unsecured lending, customer information, accounting, product catalogue, and referencing information, as well as insurance, investments, private banking and financial support.
This role is to work within the core banking elements of EDB relating to personal and small to medium enterprise business customers functions.

roduction and maintenance of the Service Domain document which details core/system and BaaS APIs in a specific BIAN Service Domain.

eview requirements in the form of user stories, sprint reviews and DDPs.

ork with respective domain EAs to ensure pattern and strategy alignment of solutions.

ngoing design and implementation advice to product and engineering teamsHas control and visibility of the end-to-end solution.
iaise with Product Owners to assist in roadmap of the domain and to understand pipeline work/projects.

XPERIENCE+3 years of related experience.
DUCATIONUniversity degree in technology, preferably in computer science.
KILLS & KNOWLEDGEA deep knowledge of the BIAN framework and service domains specific to the domain specialty.
Working knowledge of those it interacts with to shape and define the service domain capability within Santander.
PI definitions – system services, xAPI, BaaS and omni channel and the functions/business capabilities covered by each.
xperience working within financial services, ideally within a core retail banking environment including customer.
xperience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
roven experience in solution architecture, and the creation of solution designs and documentation to support the delivery of projects.
Strong understanding of applying risk and control frameworks, policies and standards to solution architecture.
road technical knowledge with a good understanding of integration patterns (API’s, Messaging).
trong written and verbal communication skills in English.
bility to communicate to all levels and to keep stakeholders informed.
sage and application of Archimate, or other modelling languages as appropriate would be a nice to have.
xperience of building APIs would be a nice to have.
