SOURCING & PROCUREMENT ANALYST

Overview:The Global IT Sourcing Analyst is a key member of the Global IT Sourcing and Procurement team, reporting directly to the IT Sourcing and Procurement Manager. This role involves working in an international environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams from various countries. The global exposure offered by this position provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into different markets, procurement practices, and cultural perspectives, thereby enhancing professional development and broadening expertise.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate should embody qualities such as transparency, strong ethics, reliability, accuracy, and the ability to build trust and foster a sense of teamwork. They should have a dual background in finance and technology, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT procurement, including managing procurement data analysis and reporting, forecasting and demand planning, RFPs management, and agreements management. A proven track record of success in IT sourcing, along with a strong commitment to procurement processes and compliance, is essential. A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain is required. A master’s degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous. Additionally, experience in similar global roles or at a well-known global research and advisory company would be highly beneficial.Expertise Required:Data analysis and reporting: Analyzes IT sourcing data, identifies trends, and prepares reports to support decision-making and improve procurement processes. Reviewing and analyzing agreements and purchase orders: Is responsible for reviewing and analyzing agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.Forecasting and demand planning: Managing the forecasting and demand planning activities, which include analyzing historical data, adjusting forecasts, and assessing inventory levels.Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess vendor performance using scorecards and other evaluation methods. Conduct regular reviews and manage corrective action plans to resolve any performance issues.Compliance and risk management: Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. They may also assess and manage risks associated with procurement activities.Supplier evaluation and selection: Supporting the evaluation and selection processes. This involves reviewing proposals, conducting evaluations based on predefined criteria, and producing evaluation reports.Contract negotiation: Involved in contract negotiation with selected suppliers. This includes negotiating service level agreements and ensuring that contract terms are favorable for the organization.RFX events: Managing complex competitive events autonomously (RFX: Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quotation)Desired Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation skillsEffective written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with video calls and meetings.Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a keen attention to accuracy.Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Passionate about building new capabilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.Proficient in both verbal and written English
