Are you a SPARK/SCALA Developer seeking a new interesting challenge? 🔍If your answer is yes, it’s your lucky day so keep reading, it can be just what you're looking for! 👀✍️WHAT WILL YOU DO?We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:BDC is about to undertake a migration from its current location in hadoop to a new cloud infrastructure with AWSTaking a lead role within the CCM BDC squad - delivering enhancements to existing service, dealing with any issues/bugs and migrating to a new cloud infrastructureDelivering to time, budget and qualityWith oversight of solutions that deliver complex communications to service our customersLeading and mentoring junior team members to further their technical prowessAble to support production through 24*7 on call We value up-skilling the entire team. To this end, we are seeking candidates who will contribute to the continuous improvement of our team, both through teaching and through learning🧐 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Years' experience: minimum 5 years in a similar roleStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience and good understanding in AWS and CI/CD pipelinePrevious Hands on experience of working with Spark Scala programming language as a full-stack dev-ops (needs to be HANDS ON)Experience and knowledge on Control-M, Hadoop/Spark, Kafka, Charon streaming, Postman, Java , Hue – SQL queryingDevops deployment and development experienceAbility to demonstrate consistently successful deliveries to time and budgetAbility to drive out technical solutions that will enhance Santander's digital communications landscapeExperience of mentoring / coaching other techniciansYou can direct focus to what matters mostAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedExperience of working in an agile environmentBroad experience of agile software development practices (Unit testing, Test driven development or CI/CD📅 WHERE AND WHEN?Workplace: 100% Remote (All members of the Team must be within the Spanish territory)Work Schedule: Business Hours🤝 WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU?Permanent contract 📋 - We offer indefinite contracts from the first day.Pay and benefits 💸 - Competitive salary and a flexible compensation plan adapted to your needs (Ticket restaurant plan, Childcare Ticket, Transport Ticket and Health Insurance).Work from home 🏚️ - We offer you a financial support every month for your working from home expenses.
