As part of the Digital Risk Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, the Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery Governance, will play an integral role in the support and maintenance of our risk-based Disaster Recovery program.
This role will work to ensure that Trane Technologies adheres to its disaster recovery policies and standards by providing expert guidance to support teams across IT including development, application support, security, and operations.
The Senior Analyst, Disaster Recovery Governance will assist in building resilience through support for recovery plans, helping the company prepare to contend with critical business disruptions in an increasingly complex world.
The ideal candidate will be successful in their field with a proven ability to communicate, implement, and measure Disaster Recovery compliance and resiliency within a large, global enterprise.

This is a Remote position.
What you will do.
Drive scope, strategy, and year over year maturity of the Disaster Recovery program, with direction from leadership.
Refine program requirements with a risk-based lens on a periodic basis.
Lead disaster recovery planning efforts, including reviewing IT application recovery plans and test results, and assisting with test exercises.
Identify and document risks and impacts, make recommendations and help drive the development of robust recovery strategies.
Assess and audit Disaster Recovery plan and test protocols, including process, procedures.
Provide input on processes, policies, procedures, and best practices that help keep all Disaster Recovery Program components aligned, current, and actionable.
Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with stakeholders and be able to effectively understand their interests and program challenges.
Collaborate with IT and business partners company-wide before, during and after resiliency tests and exercises to ensure resiliency of the organization.
Report on program status and metrics.
What you will bring.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience working with and creating effective technology resiliency and disaster recovery planning.
Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity on a large-scale including review of recovery plan implementation and DR risk assessment to identify opportunities for improvement.
Broad experience in the field of information technology as it applies to infrastructure and application best practices including high-level knowledge of.
Server Operating Systems Site Replication Virtualization and clustering technologies Public Cloud Environments (AWS and/or Azure) DNS, networking, firewalls Backup media and retention Effective project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple, concurrent projects and tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create collaborative relationships with colleagues across various groups and levels, and influence without authority.
Prior experience working in Risk Management, Information Technology, Data Centers, Cybersecurity, and BC/DR domains a plus.
Exposure to 3rd Party SAAS and/or Cloud vendors a plus.
Professional certifications (DRII, BCI, ISC2, ISACA) a plus.
