Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the main payment experience for our platform that supports the money movement of our industry leading payment engine moving hundreds of millions for thousands of users everyday.You will join a team responsible for designing new features and enhancing existing ones to boost engagement, conversion rates, speed, cost efficiency and scalability of our product. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, pragmatic design, building quality products and to convey the sensation that the product is the responsibility of all the team is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality code in a team defined timeframe working both in the frontend and backend of our product.Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable codeSolve items such as challenging bugs and production issues within the development environmentWork on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsDrive change and improvement in all phases of the development lifecycleEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applicationsContribute to the product vision by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams across engineering, product and design.Work collaboratively with teams across the globe by understanding their needsHelp your fellow developers to continue growing their skillsQualificationsHere’s What We’re Looking For:Hands-on experience building and maintaining SPA based web application development, both in frontend and backend Experience in designing, developing and supporting scalable, performant and reliable web applications and distributed systemsSeasoned in techniques such TDD and BDDProficient working with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)Understanding of relational databases Experience in Web Accessibility principlesHands-on experience building and maintaining Javascript libraries is a plusUnderstanding of o11y principles and toolsStrong understanding of object-oriented fundamentalsGreat understanding of the other disciplines in the cross functional team: QAs, Product and SREsFluent in English, as it is the company’s working language Experience in FinTech or the payment industry will be appreciatedThe ability to deliver high quality code and learn quicklyOutstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including product and supportTechnologies We UseRuby (open to backend languages such as Java, Python)React (open to any other SPA framework such as Angular or Vue)Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, Tailwind CSSJest, Playwright System management: Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Sidekiq, AMQP, ElasticSearch,DockerCloud platform: AWSOur CultureWe are a global company.
