The ideal candidate will reside in or around Barcelona.
A Field Service Supervisor is considered a “remote” colleague and will be issued a fleet vehicle to allow for travel to multiple customer locations, mostly in Catalunya and Valencia.
Some overnight travel (%) will be expected.

om/bindingsite The Field Service Supervisor provides day-to-day management and supervision to a committed team of engineers, supports and guides the team to meet customer and service objectives, and works closely with the Sr.
Service Manager to lead all aspects of field service support and customer relationship management.
In addition, the successful candidate will deliver complete services on laboratory products including installation, repairs and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities.
Lead and direct the activities of a dedicated team of 5 engineers in Iberia.
Distribute service jobs in the most efficient way.
Arrange vacation shifts and organize the activity in periods when some colleague is on leave to ensure minimal impact on response time and quality of service.
Conduct goal setting and performance evaluations of your team.
Support and provide back up and training to your colleagues when necessary.
Perform on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance as well as telephone support of the PDX products.
Report any quality problems observed in the design or manufacture of the analysers.
Predicatively look for trends and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
Make suggestions to improve the design.
Participate in regular global service calls.
Keep control of the stock of spare parts, coordinating and performing stock counts when required.
Write, check, approve and update service documents when required.
Properly report the service activity through the company's integrated management system.
Must be proficient with the use of customer management software to track service calls, lead parts inventories, and complete job tasks, ensuring customer database accuracy.
Assist TS Manager to establish and implement strategic and tactical plans for the continuous improvement of service processes.
Keep him advised of issues and support needs.
Must be customer-focused, working in conjunction with applications and sales teams.
Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, electrical or mechanical or electronics, or related field.
5+ years of technical field service experience with strong electronic/electrical and mechanical expertise Proven Field Service track record.
Excelent customer service and support experience.
Experience in team management.
Desirable experience in the Medical devices industry, preferably with clinical analysers.
Intermediate level of english Essential Functions and Physical Requirements.
Ability to safely move heavy devices (70 Kg) with assistance on occasion.
Ability to safely lift and carry Kg continuously throughout the day.
Ability to bend, squat, stretch, and reach every day in a service function.
Maintain a valid car driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
