We are hiring for Supply Chain Assistant Position: Supply Chain AssistantPosition Reports To: Supply Chain ManagerDepartment: Supply ChainLocation: Madrid, Spain.Work Type: Present at PlantStart: immediately available candidatesJob Summary:This role is crucial for ensuring seamless operations in Supply Chain management and international trade, with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and strategic collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Support with National and International Shipments:Freight quotation management.Monitoring of purchase orders for critical raw materials, foiled condoms, toys, and lubricants.Inventory Control and Logistics Coordination:Assisting with inventory management and overseeing logistics operations within the warehouse.Administrative Management:Handling invoicing reconciliation, documentation, reports, files, and records.Compliance with Legal Obligations:Managing tax-related responsibilities, including plastic taxes and other applicable taxes.Skills required:Knowledge in International Trade (Import/Export):Familiarity with regulatory standards, documentation, and processes for compliance in import/export operations.Proven experience in managing:Customs procedures.Tariffs, duties, and logistics requirements for international transportation.Contracts with international suppliers, shipment monitoring, and delivery deadlines.Knowledge in Logistics and Warehouse Management:Comprehensive knowledge of maritime and land freight management, including:Rate negotiation.Route planning and transit time management for cost and delivery optimization.Expertise in warehouse management with a focus on:Inventory control and organization.Handling of inbound and outbound stock.Ensuring operational efficiency in internal logistics.Education and knowledge:Language Skills:Intermediate-advanced proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with suppliers and international partners in import/export contexts.Advanced Excel:Expertise in pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization through charts.Strong ability to analyze large data sets for supply chain optimization.Dynamics 365 (D365):Basic knowledge of inventory, procurement, and logistics modules.Competence in aligning with organizational technological processes.Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Supply Chain field, demonstrating proficiency in:Strategic planning.Inventory management.Procurement.Logistics.Supplier management.Additional Skills:Strong analytical abilities with a continuous improvement mindset aimed at optimizing operational processes.Effective communication and collaboration skills to foster cross-departmental coordination and maintain productive relationships with business partners.About the CompanyLifeStyles has a history dating back to 1905 when Eric Ansell first started making condoms in Richmond Australia.Today LifeStyles is a Global leader in the sexual wellness sector, comprising a broad range of condoms, personal lubricants, and other related products and other products in over sixty countries.The LifeStyles family of brands includes the leading global non-latex condom brand, SKYN®, along with local brands such as LifeStyles®, Manix®, Unimil®, and Blowtex® and Control®.Outside of branded products, the Company also supports universities, NGOs, and other organizations as part of a broader effort to promote sexual health and prevent the spread of STDs and STIs.
