Join our team as a Surveyor in our Marine Survey Division 🌟Tecnoambiente, a subsidiary of Tradebe, is a multidisciplinary geoscience and environmental consultancy, with its own accredited laboratory. Specialized in the marine environment, offshore and coastal, we perform hydrographic, geophysical, geotechnical and environmental surveys and studies for projects in Europe, West Africa, and Latin America.What will you do? Make an impact!As a surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive offshore surveys. Utilizing cutting-edge geophysical and geotechnical technologies to collect and analyze sea floor data, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards. You'll have the opportunity to take on diverse project roles and, for experienced surveyors, step into the Party Chief position when required.Conduct geophysical and geotechnical surveys using specialized equipment.Gather, record, process and interprete accurate and reliable data on sea floor depth, underwater obstructions, and seabed conditions.Adhere to health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and industry standards during all offshore operations.Configure and test data acquisition and processing software to ensure compatibility and proper operation.Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of survey procedures, data collection methods, and equipment configurations.Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment, software and vessel during field operations.Lead / supervise equipment deployment and recovery operations.Do you have what it takes?Bachelor’s degree in Hydrography, Marine Geomatics, Oceanography, Geophysics, or a related field.Utilize and maintain specialized data processing software and tools, such as QINSy, Qimera, NaviSuite, CARIS, QPS, HYPACK, SonarWiz, autoCAD/autoCHART or GIS applications.Minimum of 8 years of experience in geophisical and geotechnical surveying in offshore environments.Availability to work onboard offshore vesselsMust be available for flexible scheduling during the acquisition phase, including extended hours and weekends, to accommodate operational demands and ensure uninterrupted data collection.We offerTecnoambiente has over 150 employees and is backed by a strong group.
