TECH LEAD - JAVA

We’re on the lookout for a Java Tech Lead to take charge of a team, guide architectural decisions, and lead development cycles for Java-based systems and services. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver top-notch features on time.What You’ll Do:Define the Team’s Direction: Set up short, mid, and long-term goals for system architecture and tech stack choices.Build Scalable Microservices: Architect, develop, and keep our microservices secure, scalable, and up to date with the latest tech.Drive Development Cycles: Lead the team in setting up and refining the development environment and adopting best practices.Align with the Roadmap: Make sure deliverables are on track, manage the full development lifecycle, and keep production systems running smoothly with DevOps.Maintain Quality Standards: Oversee unit testing, integration testing, and all quality assurance.Own Technical Communication: Act as the go-to person for all things technical, both within the team and across the company.What We’re Looking For:Experience: strong experience in software development, including team leadership in Java environments.Tech Skills:Java, Spring (Boot, Cloud), and Maven expertiseExperience with microservices and distributed systemsHands-on with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes; AWS experience is a plusCI/CD (Jenkins or similar)Solid database knowledge (SQL, NoSQL, Redis)Experience with Kafka and message queues is a plusSoft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges.Language: Proficient in English (Upper Intermediate or higher)Tech Stack:Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MavenDevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (preferred)CI/CD & Tools: Git, Jenkins, other CI/CD toolsData: SQL, NoSQL, Redis, KafkaAdditional benefits Private medical insuranceFlexible compensation 23 days/paid vacationsMacBook Pro M3 + budget for extra equipment Paid travel to headquarters at convenience Spanish classes (face-to-face/office)** You will work in hybrid mode, with offices in Zaragoza.
