om       We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity for a Transfer Pricing Officer to join our growing Transfer Pricing practice which operates within the wider Alter Domus business.
The Transfer Pricing team is highly specialized in the analysis of financial transactions (mainly in the alternative investment sector) and works on client engagements across key European jurisdictions with clients located across multiple European countries and a team resourced with members located in Luxembourg, UK, Spain, Italy and Malta.
The role will be based in Madrid and will report into the senior officers and managers of the Transfer Pricing team and will assist in the delivery and management of the Transfer Pricing team’s projects.
In addition to strong technical capabilities, the candidate must demonstrate proven project execution skills across multi-jurisdictional teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION.
Analysis and valuation of companies’ transactions.
Preparation of benchmarking analyses (mainly analyses of alternative investments, i.
.
real estate and private equity investments, to determine the credit rating and benchmarking of intragroup loans and other financial transactions) Preparation of Transfer pricing reports.
Execution of administrative processes (i.
.
KYC, code opening, billing, Sales Force updates, etc.) Identify and anticipate possible problem areas, measure and manage potential risks.
Delivery of projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken.
Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and provide high levels of account support to the senior officers and managers.
REQUIREMENTS.
A bachelor’s in economics/business administration/finance.
A master’s in economics/finance/business administration is a plus.
Advanced level of English.
A second European language (especially French) is desirable.
1 - 3 years of Transfer Pricing experience gained in a tax advisory / law firm / consulting firm.
Experience in Transfer Pricing Financial transactions is a plus.
Experience in identification of intercompany transactions, benchmarking analysis, preparing Transfer Pricing documentation.
Strong technical skills and desire to develop further.
Ability to interpret Transfer Pricing regulations and tax statute.
Proven capability in driving project delivery.
Ability to identify areas of risk and know when to refer upwards.
Client focused and commercially aware.
Relationship management skills with ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
Project management skills, plan and prioritise work and meet deadlines.
Ability to integrate with new teams quickly and to work remotely with team members located in different jurisdictions.
