TREASURY ANALYST SETTLEMENTS

The Treasury Analyst Settlements is securing the daily activities of performing the settlement processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. The analyst supports the Treasury Manager Settlements in, reconciliation and reporting functions for transactions with Merchants. The Treasury analyst maintains knowledge and expertise on market settlement methodologies and applies technical and business expertise in managing daily settlement responsibilities. The Treasury analyst has a high eye for detail and secures a controlled process environment to ensure accuracy in preparing and reporting of transactions.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and verify the payment proposals for the Merchants based on volumes processedPrepare the payments for MerchantsChecks and verify settlement instructions for merchantChecks and confirm settlement and payment instructions to banks/counter-partiesParticipate in various IT projects relating to enhancement of in-house treasury systemForecast daily and weekly settlements in advance to facilitate cashflow management.Ensure reconciliations are verified accurately and timely.Check and ensure accurate and timely payment and collection for all money settlement by the scheduled date and time as per requirement of relevant exchangesDaily interaction with Treasury Operations, Controller and accounting teams, Business Operations, IT, and other key finance groupsEnsure errors are minimized through a methodical and meticulous approach to work and by understanding and assuming primary responsibility for all aspects of the allocated daily processesAct as a team playerConsistently seek opportunities to improve processes, controls and proceduresWork closely with operations to reconcile daily cash balances and resolve pending cash discrepancies as necessaryIdentify gaps in current practices with the goal of increasing efficiencyParticipate in system implementations and other strategic initiatives as neededEnsuring the integrity and completeness of all Treasury data (including required disclosures, schedules, and other information) provided to merchants and referrals.Ensure company compliance with our Treasury policies, including quarterly and annual reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.English Advanced Spanish is a plusAbilitiesDealing with ad hoc queries from managementEffective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationshipsStrong understanding of banking processes.Excellent knowledge in Excel (mandatory) Good Power BI knowledge is a plusAbility to adapt to new assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Banking or financial services or/and payments business knowledge is a strong plus.
