UNIX ADMINISTRATOR

Therefore, being a NEXTER means that your career and talent become meaningful to you and those around you, allowing you to build what matters most to you and reach your next level.We are looking for a talented Unix Administrator to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector located in Madrid.📌Key Responsibilities:Focus on administration of Unix servers hosted in a financial institution, including RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX, Debian, etc.Manage a large infrastructure of physical and virtual servers and critical applications.Ensure stability of server park and collaborate proactively with clients.Proficiency in high availability technologies and automation.Responsible for security remediations, hardening, patching, and addressing client requests and incidents.Emphasis on continuous learning and automation mindset.Strong communication, planning, and quick response capabilities during critical incidents are required.💡Skills:Essential:Advanced skills in administration and troubleshooting on RHEL and Ubuntu distributions in big infrastructures (> 1000 servers).Scripting and automation experience in Ansible.Management of SAN and NAS at server side.Knowledge of networking at server side.Experience administering clustering solutions like:Veritas Infoscale FoundationOpenSVCHigh English spoken and written fluent (B2/C).Desirable:Skills on other automation technologies as Puppet.Knowledge in Active Directory and Centrify.Knowledge of patching tools like Satellite or Landscape.Experience working with ticketing tools as Service Now.Experience with CI/CD tools: Jira, Bitbucket, etc👉 Job Conditions & Benefits:📜 Permanent contract.📍 Work Mode: Hybrid, with 4 days remote and 1 day in-person in Madrid (flexible).💰 Competitive salary. 🎓 Professional Development: Access to an annual budget dedicated to advancing your skills through professional certifications.Join our expert team, where creativity, commitment and the ability to bring new perspectives are essential to make a difference in a world full of opportunities.🚀 Are you ready for your NEXT LEVEL?In Lognext we are committed to equality between women and men and as proof of this we have a registered and published Lognext Equality Plan.
