May We are looking for a temporary veterinarian to support IBPS team - the clinical veterinarian and the Animal Welfare Officer -.
Training & experience requirements Proficient in English, both written & spoken Veterinary degree with authority under Spanish law for.

Ideally the temporary employee will have worked within a BSL3 facility.
Main responsibilities As a veterinarian, the temporary employee is legally able to support the Clinical Veterinarian in the supervision of procedures requiring veterinary oversight.
It’s a legal requirement in Spain that a Veterinarian provide supervision of humane endpoints for animal on study, thus the temporary vet will be able to provide support in this aspect.
Supervision of disinfection and sterilization procedures, and efficacy of cleaning and hygiene measures.
Support Provide a 100% of Clinical veterinary care to all animals on site.
Perform routine health assessments and post-mortem examinations.
Support the training programme for in vivo work.
Be able to support experimental work – this would be less frequent compared with the other responsibilities listed.
Administrative support Administrative support with animal ordering and regulatory records.
Administrative support with requests for maintenance work in the animal facility and thus being a contact person with CBRE and P&E.
