Core Responsabilities Perform vetting activities, including assessment, oversight, screening and clearance of vessels to determinate their conformance with relevant standards and their suitability for use by Repsol.
Evaluate the suitability of newly identified potential Time Charter (TC) technical managers and vessels nominated for TC.
Support the Repsol Vetting Team in ensuring consistent application of all marine assurance policies and procedures and provide guidance to Repsol businesses to ensure similar implementation.
Aide marine activity support and advice to Charterers, Operators, Logistics Teams and other shipping activities as requested.
Provides input to Vetting process and procedures including vetting tools and data analytics to continuously improve Vetting processes and efficiencies.
Contribute towards the maintenance of the integrate Repsol Vetting Marine Assurance System (RVMAS) database and other relevant data sources to ensure accurate and contemporary information.
Identify, scope, draft, implement, maintain and monitor improvements in RVMAS database.
Leadership and participation in projects and initiatives promoted from Repsol Vetting area.
Maintains dialogue with industry counterparts including participation in industry work groups as directed.
Reporting as required.
Essencial Qualifications Class II/2 or III/2 (Master Mariner or Chief Engineer) and experience as Master/Chief Officer or Chief Engineer/2nd Enginer on board oil, gas or chemical tankers, or Equivalent professional marine qualification/experience with a shipping background including substantial experience in the management of tanker ship operations.
Essencial Experience Advanced technical marine operations experience.
Knowledge of OCIMF including SIRE & TMSA Knowledge of risk assessment and incident investigation techniques Competences and Skills Languages Spanish and English fluid as much as writing as oral.
Organizational capacity, planning and initiative driving skills.
Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Decision-making ability and ease in problem-solving.
Leading capacity and adaptability to change.
IT skills.
