Senior Sales DirectorBasic: €170,000 – €190,000 + €100,000 OTE (uncapped)Company: Global SaaS Vendor, 25,000+ employees, €5 Billion turnoverIndustry Focus: FinTech, Legal, Compliance, Financial AutomationAre you an experienced Sales Director with over 8 years of experience leading sales divisions?Are you fluent in English as well as Dutch, Spanish or French?Have you worked within SaaS companies within the FinTech, Risk, Legal, AP Automation, Compliance markets?The company are a global SaaS vendor with a reputation for being a market leader that sell solutions into FTSE 100 & Fortune 1000 level clients. Their solutions help companies navigate the complex corporate financial landscape with offerings around legal, tax, trade, reporting and compliance. Following significant investment and growth they are now looking to hire a Senior Sales Director to manage an existing team of around 20 with 3 direct reports and then to help scale the teams globally.You will need to have a proven track record in sales with at least 8 years in a sales leadership role managing sales teams within complex software solutions environment and significant experience meeting and exceeding sales/revenue goals. Ideally you will have managed teams selling to FTSE 100 & Fortune 1000 level clients, globally. A talented leader who can motivate and engage teams and individuals to deliver exceptional performance as well as manage the specific demands of managing tenured and experienced employees.Experience of working for a software vendor with a similar offering is very much preferred and due to the global nature of the business you will need to be fluent in English, with either Dutch, French or Spanish as a second language. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuine market leader with a portfolio of market leading solutions.Position Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive account management strategy and business planDevelop and drive new customer acquisition and expansion through strategic sales initiatives and account-based marketing campaigns.Lead the team in identifying, pursuing, and closing new sales/new logo opportunities within an assigned territory or market segment.Oversee the development and execution of strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, drive growth maximize revenue from existing customers and expand the customer base.Drive the sales and renewal process for existing customers, ensuring high retention rates and proactively identifying and addressing any risks to customer retention.Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders, building trust and credibility through consistent communication and exceptional service.Build (where applicable), lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing account management team, fostering a positive and results-oriented environment that promotes collaboration.Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive individual and team success.Collaborate with the sales team and the Partnerships & Alliances team to develop and execute go-to-market campaigns with strategic partners.Develop next generation of leaders through effective coaching on skills and mindset/leadership attributes.Establishing strategic partnerships to drive growth and success in collaboration with the Partnership & Alliances team.Experience Required8+ years experience working within a senior leadership role for a SaaS vendorExperience working for a SaaS vendor selling Tax, Legal, FinTech, Compliance, AP Automation, Risk focused solutionsExperience leading and managing Regional, EMEA or Global teamsStrong people management experience, experience managing managers as well as individual contributors Lead both new business and account management teams
