Workplace Engineer About the Role Are you looking for an opportunity in Digital Workplace and want to be a pioneer in shaping new ways of working? We are seeking for a Modern Workplace System Engineer with focus on developing and supportingmanaged Microsoft Windows -based workplaces.
In your role you will.
• Support the agile Endpoints team and Digital Workplace with your expert knowledge in desktop management, particularly inhighly secure environments.
• Develop and integrate new features, products and services.
• Plan, design and implement the endpoint management architecture.
• Support the automation around managing secure environments.
• Support the team with knowledge of endpoint security aspects.
• Act as level 4 troubleshooting/support for the team (no on-call duty).
• Contribute to Swiss Re's Healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities.

About you • Extensive (3+ years) experience with managing configuration of Windows desktops in a secure environment • University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or related field • Expertise in networking and operating systems • High-level skills in problem solving and troubleshooting • Interested in solving problems in an automated/scripted way • Good understanding of security principles with a focus on endpoint security • Efficiently, you have some fundamental understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Azure AD,and Microsoft 365 app integrations Professional Experience.
• Extensive (3+ years) hands-on experience with managing secure Windows client devices • Experience with scripting deployments and/or configuration on Windows using PowerShell, Group Policies & MS EndpointManager (Configuration Manager and/or Intune) • You have expert (5+ years) experience with operating systems (Windows) • Optimally, you have work-experience with virtualized desktop environments using Citrix technologies Interested in this new challenge?
