The Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) Seeks a “Research Technician: Prostate Cancer PDX models and In-Vivo experiments”Reference: 2024-055-01Application deadline: 05/10/2024Number of vacancies: 1Job description: The Prostate Cancer Translational Research Group is seeking a Research Technician to join our lab.Our group mission is to improve advanced prostate cancer management through a better understanding of tumour response and resistance mechanisms and by correlating clinical and molecular data to advanced towards a more precise patient care. Our multidisciplinary team is composed by biomedical scientists, bioinformaticians, medical oncologists and clinical data specialists. Over the last few years, our team has established a collection of patient-derived xenograft models from patient tumor biopsies, that we now use for in-vivo experiments studying mechanisms of tumor sensitivity and resistance to different therapeutic approaches for prostate cancer.Find more about our research here: https://www.vhio.net/prostate-cancer-translational-research-group/The successful candidate will form an integral part of our group.
