The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our properties.
The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate accounting, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes specific to the real estate industry.
Financial Reporting.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the company's assets.
General Ledger Maintenance.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate entries related to property revenue, expenses, and other financial transactions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable.
Oversee the invoicing process, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
Audit Support.
Prepare documentation and assist during internal and external audits.
Fixed Assets.
Track and record fixed asset acquisitions, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring accurate property asset registers.
Financial Analysis.
Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
Liaison with Property Management.
Work closely with the property management team to ensure accurate financial reporting and to support operational decision-making.
