ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING SPECIALIST SPAIN

We are looking for an accounting and reporting specialist who will be responsible for the preparation and management of the administrative, financial and tax issues and accountancy of the companies under management.Main Responsibilities:Act as the main point of reference for specific clients under management, ensuring a high quality of service and meeting all requests from clients on a timely basis;Develop a good understanding of industry specific practices including Power Purchase Agreements, construction and operational processes, applying technology specific accounting practicesPrepare VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, and assist with accounting, tax and financial queries as required;Issued and received invoices registration.Preparation and submission of the applicable taxes.Banks movements registration (payments, receivables, tax liquidations, loans repayments…).Preparation and submission of financial reporting to the client including main KPIs. Controlling of the deadlines of loans repayments.Banks reconciliations.Accruing of the projects´ incomes.Accruing of the main expenses: Insurance, land lease, depreciation, O&M…).Documentation management (physical and digital archive).Preparation and deposit of Annual Accounts and official booksProject Finance management including relation with the Banks and budget preparation;Key Requirements:Accounting, financial and tax knowledge of small and medium companies3-4 years-experienceSAGE knowledge is a mustQualified with experience in accounting for renewable assets is a mustGood communication skillsBe able to meet deadlines under pressure scenariosStrong aptitude for math, attention to detailAbility to organize their work independently and as part of a teamEnglish FluentStudiesEconomics Degree or Business AdministrationWhat do we expect from you?We expect from you passion, commitment and, most of all, the desire to learn in each activity you’re tasked with.
