YOUR MISSION Our goal is to provide an on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.
e are looking for a top talented Accounting Lead to lead a team of 4 Senior Accountant Controllers and be responsible for overseeing reporting of Financial Statements of Glovo.
THE JOURNEY Oversee finance reporting activities, including the review of local Financial Statements of Glovo subsidiaries.
Be in charge of global month-end-closing and support local teams to ensure timely submission of TB, KPIs and FTEs.
Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting at Glovo group level.
Review, investigate and correct inconsistencies in financial reporting.
Prepare monthly financial reports providing relevant stakeholders with accurate and insightful information.
Drive reporting process improvement and coordinate when necessary with local finance teams.
Participate in cross-departmental projects.
Maintain a strong communication and act as the main point of contact for Delivery Hero and for other Glovo stakeholders in terms of finance reporting.
Support local accounting teams in cross accounting projects led from HQ, such as IFRS implementation, ERP implementations, Reporting package implementation, etc.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting required.
Master’s degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience working in audit, as financial controller or in a similar role.
A combination of international exposure is a plus.
A strong technical knowledge of accounting and compliance issues.
Knowledge of the digital industry is a plus.
Proven team management skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using Onestream or other reporting tools.
Experience in SAP S4/HANA is a plus.
Proficient with Excel and G-suite.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Data driven and results oriented.
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes multiple projects, meets all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product.
