Start your future with BorgWarner now! Job purpose This co-op will be supporting the Advanced Systems Technical Specialist in electric drive system (eMotor/inverter/gearbox/thermal system) design and simulation activities.
These include.
Benchmarking of state-of-the-art electric motor and inverters in the market Identification of key metrics of technology for electric motor and inverter Simulation and concept development for next generation electric motor   Simulation and concept development for next generation Inverter Simulation and concept development for thermal system (CFD / 1D simulation) Simulation and concept development for mechanical system (FEA) Development of product technology roadmap Other activities include participation in E-Drive System testing and data analysis.
Key responsibilities Develop novel technology and competitive landscape reports from benchmarking Assessment reports on novel electric motor and inverter technology aspects Implementation of new control schemes in simulation and modelling of electric drive systems Data analysis and reporting including technical insights and assessment What we’re looking for Curiosity Eagerness to learn Dependability What we believe Inclusion -We value diversity in people, ideas, and experiences.
