LPS creates loyalty management software for companies as Lufthansa, Deutsche Bahn AG, PAYBACK and international air carriers such as China Southern Airlines and United Airlines. With the company headquarters in Munich (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our Malaga (Spain) office.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGWe are looking for a dedicated professional to join our cross-functional team and contribute to the development of solutions for one of our international airline clients. This role involves working closely with customers, product owners, and the development team to ensure high-quality delivery through effective testing and continuous improvement.Work with a diverse team to develop and deliver solutions tailored to our international airline customers' needs.Understand the customer requirements and needs to derive test design and test scenarios and define acceptance criteria together with the product owner and development team.Support the team in defining and executing automated and manual test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality.Review test design and test code authored by other team membersMaintain, improve, and enhance the Java-based test suite, adapting it to meet evolving technical and business requirements.Actively contribute to the team's continuous development and improvement in technical and organizational areas.Demonstrate self-sufficiency in managing tasks and take the initiative to identify and resolve issues proactively.Support the team to define and execute automated and manual test scenariosBe open to change and help to make the team better day by day.Optimize the working procedures based on commercial needs.WHAT YOU'LL BRINGRelevant experience in testing of complex software applicationsMinimum of 3 years in testing complex software applications3 years experience in Java developmentCore Java knowledgeExperience in Whitebox testing on Java projectsCustomer orientation and agile mindsetStrong problem analyzing skills as well as strong ownership to resolve problemsExperience on performance testing tools (DynaTrace, Jmeter etc)Proficiency with relational databases, including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.Experience with cloud-based software, particularly AWS, is highly desirable.Loyalty/CRM or Airline background is desirableGood communication skills and personal responsibilityExcellent English is a prerequisite, fluent German a plusWillingness to adapt to timezone needs for a projectTech Stack: Java, shell scripting, SOAP and REST web services, Oracle and Postgres databases, JUnit, maven, git, Jira, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, KubernetesWHAT WE OFFER⛴ Being part of dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilledprofessionals⚖️ Flexible working model: You can choose the work model that fits your lifestyle (At office, hybrid or full remote)⛱ 23 holiday days⏰ Flexible schedules with core working hours✔️ DKV private health insurance from day 1⛹ Gym SponsorshiP✏️ English, Spanish and German language classes☄️ Competitive compensation package.
