As an AI Engineer specializing in Multi-Modal AI, you will develop and deploy cutting-edge models and products that integrate various data types, such as text, images, and unstructured data, to provide comprehensive solutions.
You will design and implement end-to-end pipelines, including data integration, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will understand client requirements and develop customized solutions to address their specific needs.
You will also work on the continuous improvement and scaling of AI products to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

University degree in mathematics, computer science, or another relevant numerical/computational discipline; alternatively, equivalent experience in relevant industry roles (Master's or PhD desirable) Excellent knowledge of Python and familiarity with Git Excellent problem-solving skills in the area of machine learning and deep learning Excellent teamwork and communication skills Hands-on experience with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and model evaluation Proven track record of successfully delivering AI projects in a production environment, ideally in a pharmaceutical or healthcare setting Experience in working with multi-modal data (e.
., text, images, unstructured data) Experience in using deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch Desirable for the role.
Familiarity with DevOps, Kubernetes (k8s), and AWS Knowledge of transformer models and experience with vision-language models Experience with other AI subfields such as reinforcement learning, generative models, or graph neural networks Why AstraZeneca?
