ANALOG / MIXED-SIGNAL DESIGN ENGINEER

As an Analog / MS Design Engineer at Innova IRV Foundation, you will be part of the team defining, design and implementing the architecture improving ADC´s performance in terms of area and / or power of next generation wired and wireless communication systems. Responsibilities ADCs technology state of the art analysis Competitive landscape research and benchmarking Modeling and simulation of selected ADC designs using MATLAB / Simulink or Verilog A (Cadence) ADC design and development to improve performance (area / power) ADCs internal subblocks specs definition Identification of architecture limitations and trade-offs proposals Documentation collaterals development Minimum Requirements 2-5 yrs of recent industry experience in HW designs supporting analog / mixed signal integrated circuits Hands on experience with MATLAB / Simulink tools Knowledge of advanced wired and wireless technologies. Hands on experience with lab test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generator, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers…) Ability to work well with others and a belief that engineering is a team sport. MS degree in Telecommunications, Industrial, Computing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Preferred Requirements Hands on experience with AMS or Analog EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Keysight, Synopsys) Experience developing design documents (e.g., requirements, data flow diagrams, state diagrams). Familiarity with ADCs and / or RF analog components / front end designs and architectures. Knowledge of Verilog-AMS programming language. PhD in Telecommunications, Industrial, Computing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
