Start your future with BorgWarner now! Job Purpose BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven ” individual to join as an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Lead (AP/AR Lead).
The AP/AR Lead will oversee the AP/AR function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership of AP/AR processes within the automotive supplier industry.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the AP/AR department.
Train, mentor, and evaluate 2 direct reports.
Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely and accurate invoice processing, payment disbursement and collections.
Maintain and update AR / AP ledgers, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
Reconcile AR / AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Facilitate payment runs and distribution of payments via check, ACH and wires.
Manage and reconcile cash and bank accounts.
Oversee and manage the reconciliation and analysis of expense reports and corporate credit card.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables month end closing activities including journal entries, reconciling account balances, making adjustment entries, generating financial reports.
Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
