ARCHITECT FOR DEVELOPMENT AREA - MINOR HOTELS EUROPE & AMERICAS - MADRID

ABOUT USMinor Hotels is a global hospitality group operating over 540 hotels, resorts and residences in 56 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Americas.As a hotel owner, operator and investor, Minor Hotels fulfils the needs and desires of today’s global travellers through its diverse portfolio of eight hotel brands – Anantara, Avani, Elewana, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, Oaks and Tivoli.As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Europe and the Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.EXPERIENCE1-2 years of experience in a similar role.QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s degree in Architecture.Hospitality sector knowledge, experience in other hotel chains or architecture offices developing hospitality projects is desired.Knowledge in urban regulation / planning processes.Real estate development knowledge / experience.Be accustomed to working with technical regulationsAdvanced level or proficiency in English and advanced level in Italian required.Advanced skills in CAD/Office required. BIM skills will be valued.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAssistance and technical analysis of hotel projects during initial stages of national and international project development, including refurbishment and conversion of existing buildings and greenfield projects.Coordination with other MINOR hotels Departments and third companies (advisors, engineering and architecture offices, etc) in project development and expansion opportunities.Provide support to elaborate cost estimations for Development Operations.Provide support in planning processes to obtain planning permissions.Handover of documentation to Business Units Project Managers and provide them support during the initial stages of preconstruction process.PREFERRED SKILLSAbility to work in high performance international and cross departmental teams.High analytical capacity and ability to deal with several simultaneous projects.Design & Management abilities.Willing to travel.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONLocation: Madrid (Santa Engracia, 120).At the moment, hybrid working model (3 days at office – 2 days at home).TEAM MEMBER BENEFITSAt Minor Hotels Europe & Americas we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and cross-cultural experiences.
