We are looking for a versatile Solution IT Architect who can thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment to join our team.
Within the Research & Innovation team, you will work on a strong AWS cloud context, following the Standard operating procedures (SOPs) with Agile Squads.
You will report to our Research & Innovation Director and play a role of a highly technical leader.
You will be working with a unique and gifted team designing, deploying and sometimes developing end-to-end new, exciting products and services built on cutting-edge technologies.
We need you as an Architecture Associate Director to face challenging tasks of balancing cost for cloud oriented technical invention and performance requirements.
Responsibilities.
Architect and design enterprise solutions and\/or components tailored to the language services industry, with emphasis on workflow automation and process efficiency.
Coordinate with wider IQVIA teams throughout the SDLC to develop and rollout technology solutions utilising established and state-of-the-art technologies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers and clients to gather requirements, propose solution concepts, provide technical expertise and drive successful implementations.
In association with delivery teams, establish methodologies for the successful adoption of the solutions into continuous operation.
Create, maintain and update SOPs and guides as applicable.
Ensure that the solutions meet information security and privacy requirements and standards.
Conduct functional and system testing to validate that the developed solutions meet functional, operational and quality requirements criteria.
Create comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides and maintenance procedures.
Follow established Design and Development standards including configuration management.
Effectively collaborate with technology\/service partners and vendors for successful delivery.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, identifying ways to build new or embed with existing solutions.
Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs, including Quality Management System.
Architecture and Development.
Design and implement robust technical solutions using modern technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery of applications.
Participate in the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructures (MS Azure).
Define technical architecture standards and communicate across Technology solutions teams Design the optimum quality technical architecture based on application architecture provided by product pillars Getting approval from Technical Design Architecture board Infrastructure, software and monitoring deployment automation Automation documentation Define\/build training Programs\/presentation to improve DevOps team skills to be up-to-date on technological topics Management.
Lead and coach a team of three developers and systems engineers.
Manage human resources and develop skills within the team.
Work closely with Product Management and sales teams to meet the needs of French clients.
Security and Compliance.
Establish security standards (DevSecOps) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Manage security tools to protect information systems.
Systems and Network Administration.
Administer various systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows).
Data Management.
Work with databases (Oracle, SQL) and data processing tools (Cloudera, Hive).
Ensure the availability and integrity of data across various environments.
Profile.

What we are looking for.
You would ideally have experience and knowledge in a wide spectrum of technologies On-Premises and on Cloud (AWS preferably) contexts with good architecture role experiences.
Experience on Designing and documenting architectures.
Highly Available, designed for full automation and massive scale Facilitating future change and expansion Implementing SecOps best practices Experience and design CI-CD's systems automation for infrastructure & application level in a real-world production environment with good knowledge on their according tools.
GitLab version control, Gitlab CI Technological watching of any emerging technologies Deploying the according Pilots\/POCs or provide requirements for DevOps team to deploy it At least 2 years of experience managing teams Minimum 5 years' experience in technology field, of which at least 3 years in Solution Definition, Design and Architecture for localization solutions.
Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, development tools and cross-system integration tools.
Systems & Networks.
Proven experience with Linux, Solaris, Windows.
Cloud and Containers.
Proficiency in cloud environments (MS Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Programming Languages.
Strong skills in Bash, Python, SQL.
Security.
Knowledge of security standards and associated tools (DevSecOps).
Data Management.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Excellent written\/verbal communication skills.
Fluency in French and English is essential, an additional language would be advantageous.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Attention to detail, with the ability to transform customer requirements into design specifications.
Ability to meet deadlines and to manage competing\/shifting priorities.
Ability to follow set objectives and work independently to achieve results using own initiative.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, partners and clients.
