As a partner of choice RateGain is looking to further focus on the experience of its customers and our potential customers-to-be and seeks a hungry, motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sales Development Representative focused on European markets, to further scale the speed and ability of RateGain to serve the needs of the hospitality industry.The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator with strong organizational skills and the ability to assist in managing multiple tasks. As a Junior SDR, you will play a key role in supporting the operational aspects of the sales process, helping to build scalable processes across areas such as CRM management (Salesforce), database support, sales training materials, sales knowledge centers, and reporting. Additionally, you will learn and practice cold calling techniques as part of your development, gaining confidence in outreach strategies and direct engagement with potential customers. This role offers a great opportunity to develop foundational skills in sales operations, communication, and process optimization.You will work closely with the European Sales team, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and the European Marketing team to help streamline workflows, align efforts, and support efficient operations that drive both regional and global goals. Your success will be measured through accurate data management, improved reporting, enhanced Salesforce hygiene, contributions to process improvements, and growing proficiency in cold outreach to help drive faster sales cycles.This is an individual contributor role and, as such, the candidate is expected to be self-started and self-driven, ready to be hands to deliver on multiple projects whilst keeping the company goals and the bigger picture firmly in mind. This position is based in Barcelona and the candidate needs to have the ability to travel within the EU without limitations. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!Responsibilities:Assist with Salesforce data entry, updates, and basic maintenance to ensure accurate and clean records.Support the management of internal databases for tracking sales performance and generating reports.Help identify workflow improvements and support process optimization efforts.Follow established processes to ensure smooth operations across sales and marketing activities.Prepare and maintain basic reports and dashboards under guidance from senior team members.Assist in tracking key metrics like pipeline health and forecast accuracy.Help maintain sales training materials and knowledge centres to keep resources up-to-date.Provide SDRs and sales teams with reports and documentation to support their daily activities.Work closely with the European Sales, SDR, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth communication and task handoffs.Support team meetings and coordinate between departments to align activities.Ensure accurate data entry and reporting with proper Salesforce hygiene.Contribute to process improvements that lead to smoother operations and faster sales cycles over time.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education & Work Experience:2+ years of experience in Sales Operations.Bachelors or masters degree in related field.Knowledge:Experience in Hospitality & Travel B2B SaaS Sales will be an added advantage.Fluent in English; competency in additional European languages is desirable.Skills:Strong verbal, written communication.Experience with Data Handling or Data Analysis.
