Document the changes to the fiber network.
Retrieve information from various sources, re-establish the correct status of the network by combining and reverse engineering of these sources.
Ensuring administrative follow-up of all tasks, strict process follow-up to assure always-current status info on the numerous tasks.
Identify common errors, define (with involved teams) database queries; and process the resulting lists of inconsistencies.
Define improvement tracks which potentially could be executed by offshore teams.
Search for optimal ways to accelerate the tasks, supported by Excel macros and other automation.
We are looking for:
Experts in design and implementation of fiber networks
Knowledge of fiber design & documentation toolset (e.g. GE SmallWorld or similar GIS applications)
Excellent problem solving skills and getting things done mentalityBeing the first point of contact for the installation team for technical problems. Give them the necessary technical support.
Ability to balance between details and the big picture ∙Follows the work orders and takes the necessary actions
Strong analytical skills ∙Outstanding communication skills in English & Dutch
Drive for results, eager to learn and grow
Passionate about telecom and media
Team player, pro-active and flexible
