Business Development Manager, Madrid, €50,000 - €70,000A leading international food retail company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and spearhead strategic initiatives. This senior role reports directly to the Managing Director and plays a crucial part in shaping the company’s future by identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and generating revenue.Perks and Benefits:Competitive Salary: €50,000 - €70,000 per year based on experience.Company Car: Provided as part of the package.Technology: Laptop and mobile phone provided.Bonus Scheme: Performance-based bonus scheme (to be confirmed).Work Flexibility: 2 remote workdays per week.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Lead business development activities and create strategic partnerships to generate new revenue.Implement and drive the company’s annual business development strategy in coordination with the Managing Director and CFO.Identify and capitalise on market opportunities to drive significant income growth and sector penetration.Sales and Operations Collaboration:Coordinate with sales and operations teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals for clients.Oversee the entire sales process and ensure the successful execution of contracts.Collaborate on launching new products and improving underperforming services.Client and Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and prospective business partners.Lead presentations to both clients and internal executives, while negotiating contract terms.Data & Performance Monitoring:Track and analyse key metrics, sales performance, and insights to drive improvement.Gather and analyse market and competitor data to inform business decisions.Key Requirements:Must-Haves:Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a business development or sales management role within the food retail industry.Language Skills: Fluent in both Spanish and English (B2 level or higher).Management: Proven track record of leading and developing business development teams and achieving revenue growth.Desired:Qualifications: MBA or business-related qualifications preferred.Analytical Skills: Strong background in forecasting, data analysis, and project management.Tech Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Industry Knowledge: Background in food retail or related sectors.How to Apply:further details, apply today or send your CV to clay@corecruitment.com.
