BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE MANAGER

The role of the Business Intelligence ManagerReporting to the Head of B2C Sales and Marketing and based in Madrid, the main mission of the Business Intelligence Manager is to drive improvements in the company by providing insights and analysis. The person will leverage data and analytics to generate information that accelerates the revenue and profitability of the business.The candidate will be responsible for developing dashboards and insights, setting objectives and analyzing performance while participating in the management team. To summarize, the person will propose strategies and liaise between the business, data structure and development teams.Key tasksCreate actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operationsDrive a business intelligence roadmap; prioritize analysis requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the businessPresent analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic changeCollaborate with product management, software engineering, data science, and data engineering leaders to design and develop information management capabilitiesLead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and implement new sales and customer-related processesOptimize existing sales processes, practices and policies for internal customer satisfaction and productivity.RequirementsComputer science, mathematics, business or any other related fields backgroundPrevious experience preparing reports and real time dashboardsPrevious experience with Excel, Power-points or any other visualization tools.Previous experience with ETLExpertise creating OLAP (cube, slice, dice and drilling)Problem solving and critical thinking skills.Fluent in English and Spanish, other languages will be a plusStrong communication and collaboration skillsTeam managementWhat do we offer?Full time labor contractCompetitive salaryContinuous learning benefitsFlexible schedule and ability to work remotely according to business needsGreat working environment where people respect each other and embrace diversity
