Since 1972 we have had an operational center in Spain, whose headquarters are in Cornellà de Llobregat we have offices in Tarragona, Madrid, Castellón, A Coruña, Huelva and Algeciras, in order to provide a service of proximity and maximum quality to all our clients.If you are motivated by this transformation in the industry and wants to develop your talent to build a more sustainable future, contact us!We are currently seeking a Civil Superintendent and Steel Estructure, based in Sines/Portugal.About Job:- Acquaint him/herself and know the project in detail, indicating possible anomalies, interferences or changes- Collaborate in the implementation and / or approval of supervision procedures and quality control in agreement with the Construction Manager.- Control of the detailed planning of the works assigned.- Verify and approve contractor detail programs.-Assume the functions of project managementFrom the execution point of view:- Assist the Construction Manager in relation to his specialty.- Lead and manager on a daily bases the discipline supervisors under his responsibility.- Confirm progress of the works under his/her supervision, giving support to the Construction and Progress Report Managers.- Advise contractors in the interpretation of the documentation issued by Engineering according to the Project Management.- Clarify possible doubts or contradictions in IFC documents.- Monitor compliance with Security Plans.- Monitor the execution of work to ensure that standards, drawings, plans and specifications established are fulfilled.- Study, review and approve the technical installation procedures (Method Statements) issued by construction contractors,- Ensure the technical qualification of the specialists involved in the construction.- Control the technical documentation used by construction contractors, confirming the last approved editions.- Make know, transmit, fulfill and enforce your team and contractors on the Health, Safety and Prevention measures applicable.- Prepare reports and documents required by the Construction Manager.- Collaborate with the Site and Construction Management in every aspect of the work (related to the specialty) such as Quality Control, progress, deadlines and programs, certifications, cost control, etc.- Attend work coordination meetings, actively participating in their field of responsibility.- Coordination of contractors under his/her responsibility.- Keep a record of the modifications to ensure the correct execution of the final as-built plans.- Obtain from the construction contractors the documentation and quality certificates of all kinds that may be required.- Perform the reception of equipment and systems, together with the supervisors of the manufacturers and contractors involved.- Collaborate in the preparation of Punch lists and Provisional Reception of equipment andfacilities, after attending the mandatory tests.- Actively collaborate in the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the systems of Management and Control of Quality and Safety, Health and PRL.
