CLINICAL RESEARCH BUDGET ANALYST

The START Center for Cancer Research (“START”) is the world’s largest early phase site network, fully dedicated to oncology clinical research. START serves the many – by bringing cancer trials to physicians and their patients in community hospitals and practices when hope is needed most. START represents the world’s largest roster of Principal Investigators (PIs) across its eight clinical trial sites. As an example, in San Antonio, where START was founded, START treated the first patient ever with Keytruda – the most effective cancer drug in medical history.We are hiring a Clinical Research Budget Analyst in Spain. This role will provide effective development, implementation, and maintenance of START financial guidelines to secure appropriate billing and compliance.Essential ResponsibilitiesBuild fully negotiated, minimal-complexity rated amended budgets in Filemaker software system.Build fully negotiated, minimal-complexity rated amended budgets in Clinical Trial Management System.Exercise knowledge of coding (CPT, HCPCS) in amended budgets as needed.Assist in any available administrative or financial projects as necessary.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in financial or business administration field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or similar field) or equivalent experience and/or training.Minimum of one year of budget experience, preferably in a healthcare or clinical research setting (Oncology experience preferred) or equal level of education and experience.Intermediate MS Office Excel, Word and Adobe experience.Comprehensive critical thinking skills and attention to detail.Manage multiple competing demands and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Best-in-Class Benefits and PerksWe value our employees’ time and efforts.
