Align Technology is looking for full time Clinical Training Specialist on a 12 month contract basis.
This role requires the specialist to work remotely and will be based in Canada, the candidate primary location will be Ontario, however all regions will be considered.

The Clinical Training Specialist will be mainly responsible for providing customers the best clinical support and education.
This position will be responsible for clinical confidence in General Practice and Orthodontic offices.
The role will have a large focus on Ortho and Restorative applications, clinical education as well as troubleshooting clinical issues for customers in the Digital Dentistry workflow.
This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Adoption in Canada.
In this role, you will… Provide remote (virtual) clinical customer support to General dentists in the areas of case evaluation, Orthodontic and Restorative applications as well as clinical troubleshooting for the iTero® intraoral scanner.
Investigate and Analyze Clinical-related customer inquiries, complaints, and adverse events.
Ensure timely resolution to customer contact issue whether in-bound or out-bound.
Work very closely with the Canadian clinical training team, the Clinical training team lead and the Digital adoption manager and the regions.
Working Dental practices onsite to ensure exceptional Customer service and education.
Drive and accelerate clinical confidence for groups and teams at dental practices via specifically designed educational programs in close coordination with Customer Support and Sales Teams.
Lead delivery and localization / creation of clinical education activities; including for live and online events.
Coordinating with clinical speaker and presenting clinical content and provide clinical support and education activities for conference booth events.
Support speaker-led events lead clinical events whereby you will present to providers, and carry out field visits, as required.
Support speaker-led university training, which may include reviewing translation of educational content/proof-reading and active participation.
Utilize data/analytics to help customer’s drive decision making.
In this role, you’ll need … Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience required in a training or consulting role, with preference for graduates in the Dental sector or with a clinical designation.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist with experience in Ortho and Restorative applications in the dental sector.
Be flexible with work hours to support all regions within Canada.
Interpersonal skills including the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and possesses strong interpersonal, listening, and persuasive communication skills to give the best advice to our customers.
Individual leadership skills including the ability to organized and be driven.
Organization skills including attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and time management.
Computer proficiency including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and internet research ability.
High customer service standard that demonstrated a proven capability to navigate through change and operate with speed and agility.
Strong focus on teamwork and a proven experience building and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with a CRM system, Salesforce is preferred.
Solid written, oral and presentation with English communication skills, French bilingualism an asset.
Legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the US or within Canada.
