We’re currently looking for a CMO / Marketing Director to join our team and lead marketing strategies for both the Studio and the startups we incubate. What You’ll Do As CMO of VESS, your mission will be to manage VESS’s communication and marketing areas and provide both strategic and operational support to our startups: Design and execute VESS communication plans: You’ll be in charge of our brand and communications, including social media and PR efforts. Budget management: You’ll have the independence to make decisions as you’ll be responsible for managing the marketing budget. Tools: In coordination with other Studio team members, you’ll be able to choose the tools you’re most comfortable with to get the job done. Project Coordination: You need to have the skills to handle multiple projects at once. Partnerships: You’ll be responsible for managing agreements with companies and clients—some for selecting partners and suppliers, others strategic for the Studio. For Startups: Brand Strategy: Help startups define their positioning and build their brand identity. Go-to-Market Strategies: Design and execute strategies alongside founders to accelerate customer acquisition and traction for early-stage startups. Communication: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (social media, SEM, SEO, email marketing, offline) to boost startup visibility and growth. Metrics Analysis: We’re all about data-driven decisions. You’ll monitor and optimize campaign performance, providing insights to maximize results. Content Marketing: Support the creation and distribution of relevant content for each startup’s target audience. Public Relations: Coordinate PR actions and manage media presence to increase the impact of startups. Requirements 5+ years of experience in startups, incubators, or accelerators with a relevant portfolio, and proven expertise in digital marketing—preferably within tech or startup environments. Strong grasp of the Spanish and Latin American markets. Creative, proactive, and constantly generating new ideas for brand and communication strategies. Demonstrated success in brand development, customer acquisition, and retention campaigns, with hands-on experience managing visibility across SEO, SEM, social media, and digital platforms. Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with a collaborative mindset for working in cross-functional teams. Solution-oriented, with the initiative to tackle complex challenges creatively and independently. Well-connected within the sector, with a network of agencies and industry figures who could support our goals. Fluent in English and Spanish.
