CONSTRUCTION PV SITE MANAGER (REMOTE) - SPAIN

FLUENT ENGLISH SPEAKING REQUIRED - German is a plus.☀️About the company:A provider for photovoltaic power plants and equipment is looking for a new member for their project delivery team.The job requires both a mix of project management and consulting for their customers. You will be part of an international team spanning across the globe from China to the USA to their home base in Germany. You will be representing the customers during the construction phase of their PV plants in Germany, Spain and the rest of your Europe.☀️Position Title: Senior Project Manager☀️Tasks:Project management of customer contracts including scheduling, logistics, team leading, customer communication, reporting and billingParticipate in hand-over meetings with the sales team to ensure that the customer objectives and requirements for the project are fully understoodCoordination of required resources for the project together with the relevant technical services team leader and conduct kick-off meetingPrepare and manage multiple complex work packages that may include laboratory testing, contract review, factory inspections, power plant inspections, performance analysis as well as research & developmentEnsure that the customer deadlines are met on time for the contract deliverablesCommunicate and meet in-person as required with the customer to discuss the project details, deliverables and follow-up sales activitiesOversee the customer’s contractors during the design and construction phases of PV plants, including periodic inspection site visitsManage the invoicing process with the customer for all required payments together with the administrative department☀️Requirements:Minimum five years of experience in executing and managing photovoltaic projects (experience in the SOLAR industry IS A MUST)Electrical engineering degree or similar.Fluency in English both speaking and written; German is beneficialConsulting experience for customers of both financial and technical backgroundsBroad knowledge of photovoltaic solar energyKnowledge of and experience with the concepts of project managementExperience managing energy infrastructure projects in the construction phaseWillingness to travel and work internationallyExcellent technical writing skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of team is a mustContract Length: PermanentLocation: SpainRemote
