Would you like to be part of the project?We are currently looking for a Category/Buyer Capex & Civil Applus+ Corporate.What will your day to day be like?Category Management:Develop and implement category strategies for Capex and civil works that align with the company’s objectivesConduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Capex and contractor sectorsMaintain an up-to-date understanding of market conditions, supply base, and emerging technologies within the categorySourcing and Procurement:Lead end-to-end procurement processes for Consultants and Services services, including tendering, negotiating, and contract managementCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement strategies meet business needsDevelop a supplier base that supports the company’s growth, quality, and innovation objectives.Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concernsContract Management:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for Consultants and Services services to ensure favorable terms and conditionsEnsure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standardsMonitor contract performance and compliance, managing any changes or renewals as necessaryCost Management:Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levelsDevelop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to evaluate and optimize procurement decisionsMonitor and report on cost savings achieved and projected against targetsStakeholder Engagement:Work closely with engineering, finance, operations, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraintsProvide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement activities, category strategies, and market developmentsRisk Management:Identify and mitigate risks associated with Consultants and Services procurement, including supply chain disruptions, financial instability, and compliance issuesDevelop contingency plans and ensure supply continuity for critical projectsContinuous Improvement:Implement best practices in procurement processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement functionWhat will your day to day be like?University degree in Engineering or Business AdministrationMinimum 3 years in similar positionSpecialized in Procurement in Services, engineering international environment, facility management experience, SAP ARIBA experienceIntermediate English level (First Level)Applus+ is a company that offers equal opportunities.
